What are your most memorable moments or experiences at FC Copa Academy?
My most memorable experience at FC Copa Academy was winning numerous state cup matches with my team. It brought about a sense that all our hard work was paying off. Even though I was injured during that time, I even felt that feeling of pride.
How Did FC Copa Academy help you become the player you are today?
FC Copa Academy helped me become the player I am today because they encourage me to work harder to help my team succeed.
How did FC Copa Academy help you get into the college program you will be attending?
FC Copa Academy helped me get into the college program I will be attending considering the coach of the college I will be attending was at one of our FC Copa games.
Share your thoughts and experiences on the collegiate recruitment process with FC Copa Academy:
The college recruitment process can either be very easy or difficult depending on how you approach it. If you wait until the last minute before games/tournaments to reach out to coaches, this is going to make the process 20 times harder. If you email a coach a significant amount of time before a game/tournament and do your research about the program you are interested in, it will become so much easier.
What advice would you give to future FC Copa Academy athletes going through the collegiate recruitment process?
I would advise future Copa athletes to take advantage of the time they have right now. Reach out to college coaches and become familiar with them and their teams. That way, when recruitment time comes around, they will definitely consider you before anyone else because they have seen you develop.
How would you describe the FC Copa community?
I would describe the FC Copa community as a family-like team. When we succeed, we succeed together and celebrate our wins. If we lose, we lose as a team, realize our mistakes and improve from them in the future.
