Congratulations to our G07 ECNL RL team on an undefeated league season and winning the ECNL RL Northeast South Regional finals! They now travel to Virginia next month for the ECNL RL Nationals! The ladies followed an undefeated season with 4 more wins in North Carolina, where a 3-0 victory in the finals punched their ticket into Nationals.
The G07 ECNL RL team won every single one of their 11 games with zero losses and zero draws as they went undefeated during this league season, scoring a combined total of 33 points across all of their games, the highest number of points scored by any of the teams in their league. The girls were able to achieve these phenomenal scoring numbers while only letting up 12 goals overall from the teams that they faced, for a very impressive goal differential of 21.
The team’s coach, Coach Massimo, had this to say about his players’ remarkable and unblemished league season,“I’m very proud of this team for another successful weekend to top off a year that showed our strength. While we are celebrating this milestone, we will still get right back to work and focus on preparing for nationals in Virginia!”
The team hopes to continue this high level of play at Nationals in Virginia, where the girls will be facing off with the winners of the other ENCL RL leagues. We wish them luck with maintaining their undefeated streak during the rest of their games!
