FC Copa Academy is proud to have been selected as a founding member of the Elite Club National League (ECNL) Regional League Northeast for the upcoming season. This pathway will be accessible to all our female athletes in all our existing locations; Metuchen, Piscataway, Hillsborough, Flemington and Brooklyn.

FC Copa Academy has a 19 history of success both on and off the field. The club is dedicated to providing a positive and supportive environment for their players, with a focus on developing well-rounded athletes on the pitch and in the classroom. With over 450 collegiate alumni and 30 plus professional and national team players, we are proud to have been part of the soccer and life journey of our athletes.

"We are thrilled to join the ECNL, as this step represents a major milestone in our history and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches, and staff." said FC Copa Academy President, Founder & Executive Director of Coaching Roberto Aguas. "We look forward to continuing to compete against some of the best teams in the country and further develop top female players for years to come."

Acceptance into the ECNL Regional League was based on exceptional club performances this season in a number of different leagues around the country. Clubs from the NPL, E64, USYS National Leagues, and DPL earned the opportunity to play in the ECNL Regional League in 2023-2024. Beyond the great local and regional competition and college showcasing available in the ECNL Regional League, these clubs also have a potential pathway to earn promotion to the ECNL Club Competition in the future.

The ECNL is recognized as one of the most prestigious youth soccer leagues in the United States, with a strong reputation for developing top-level players and teams. The league is dedicated to providing a high-quality soccer experience for both players and coaches, with a focus on fostering talent and promoting sportsmanship.

“We look forward to our first season in the ECNL Regional League as it is a testament to our commitment in developing elite student athletes,” said Lori Berman, Vice President and Director of Education for FC Copa Academy. "Having access to a top level platform for league, college showcases and events for our existing and future U13 to U19 female athletes will allow for continued growth and the best possible soccer experience."
