METUCHEN, NJ - FC Copa Academy today announced a strategic partnership with Soccer Parenting Association. Through the partnership, FC Copa Players, Families and Coaches will have access to Soccer Parenting Association’s array of media amplifying opportunities for learning and engagement while highlighting topical issues in the soccer landscape.
The SoccerParentResourceCenter.com is a website dedicated to educating youth soccer parents and coaches. Parents, are provided with live webinars, articles, courses, and short videos discussing issues related to youth soccer players such as mental performance, recovery, injury prevention, Laws of the Game, tactics, technical development, college recruiting, best practices for sports parenting and much more (including "The Sideline Project"). "The Sideline Project" is an engaging, 15-minute on-line course for parents, which provides a comprehensive understanding of the difference between supportive, distracting and hostile sideline behavior to ensure a positive sideline culture. Additionally, Coaches have access to live educational webinars on a quarterly basis. The program is featured on FC Copa’s new Virtual Training Portal, launched this week to give year-round support to its players through all FC Copa initiatives.

FC Copa Academy teams compete in premier level leagues, tournaments, showcases, and competitions locally, regionally and nationally. In addition to the youth academy, FC Copa Academy provides a pathway into the college, semi-pro and professional levels via its New Jersey Copa FC collegiate programs (U20 and U23) all the way to the UWS (women) team.
