We are proud to congratulate our very own Courtney Irwin, an FC Copa Academy alumna, for being named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week!
Courtney, a standout on our G06 ECNL RL team that claimed a National Championship, continues to make an impact at the collegiate level with Kean University. This season, she’s quickly established herself as a key player for the Cougars. In their recent match against John Jay, Courtney delivered an impressive performance, recording two goals and an assist, contributing directly to five points in a dominant victory. Her ability to influence the game with both her finishing and playmaking is proving invaluable to Kean’s early-season success.
So far this season, Courtney has been instrumental in the Cougars’ attack, consistently finding opportunities to create chances and find the back of the net. As she continues to grow and adapt to the collegiate level, we have no doubt she will be a major force for Kean moving forward.
With upcoming matches, including a Saturday face-off against Pratt, we’re excited to watch Courtney continue her journey and build on her incredible start to the season.
