Audra Toth, Westfield, Sr.
Position: Forward/Defender
2024 stats: 23 goals, 9 assists
2024 breakdown: Toth made a position switch this season, moving off the back line and up to center forward. That decision helped pave the way for Westfield as it won the Group 4 title for just the fourth time in program history. Toth led the offense this year with 23 goals and nine assists. The Bucknell commit came out of the gate with three goals and an assist in a 4-0 win over Cranford. Toth led the offense the rest of the way. She also dropped back and played defense at times. Toth had the game-winning assist off the back line in a 2-1 win over Summit in the Union County final. The senior scored the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Bridgewater-Raritan in the North 2, Group 4 final. That was the third sectional title in the last four years for Westfield. Toth added two goals in a 4-0 win over Montclair in the Group 4 semis. Toth did not officially pick up an assist on sophomore Emilie Cadigan’s in the 78th minute in the group final. Her dangerous run drew in the Eastern defense, though, and when the ball was knocked away in the box, it ended up in open space. Cadigan was there to run onto it and score. It was a great ending to a sensational 20-1 season. This year was one of the best runs in program history and Toth’s position change made the difference for the Blue Devils.
“Watching Audra grow into the player and leader she is today has been an absolute privilege,” said Roberto Aguas, President of FC Copa Academy. “Her commitment, adaptability, and relentless drive have been the foundation of her success, and it’s no surprise to see her lead Westfield to such an incredible season. I have no doubt she will continue to excel in her Copa season as well as Bucknell and beyond.”
Congratulations, Audra, on an incredible senior season! We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see your continued success at Bucknell University. The best is yet to come!
