This summer, FC Copa Academy is thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our talented young athletes who have had the incredible opportunity to play for NJ Copa FC in the prestigious USL League Two, United Women's Soccer (UWS), and USL Academy. Their participation in these high-level competitions marks a significant milestone in their soccer careers and underscores our commitment to developing players who can compete at the highest levels.
In particular, our high school players have made impressive strides in the USL Academy league. Brett Lockburner, Alex Hain, Simon Failla, Connor Jennings, Danek Cirafesi, and Daniel Sameiro have all showcased their skills in this competitive environment. The USL Academy provides an invaluable platform for young players to gain experience, compete against top talent, and develop their game further. This opportunity allows them to test their abilities in a high-pressure setting, offering critical exposure that will significantly benefit their future careers. Chris Moreno and Ameer Emera also made notable contributions to the USL Academy team, demonstrating their exceptional talent and dedication.
On the women's side, several standout athletes have stepped up to compete in the United Women’s Soccer (UWS) league. Sienna Petro, Jessica Moukazis, Hailey Santiago, Katelyn Figueiredo, Audra Toth, Eika Kangas, and Gabriella Freeman have all embraced this challenge with enthusiasm and skill.
Their participation reflects the strength of our women’s program and highlights their potential to excel at higher levels.
The chance to play in such prestigious leagues at a young age is an extraordinary opportunity for our players. It not only boosts their confidence but also enhances their understanding of the game, teaching them how to navigate the pressures and challenges of competitive soccer.
At FC Copa Academy, we are committed to nurturing talent and pushing our athletes to reach their full potential. This summer’s achievements are a direct result of our dedication to creating pathways for our players, ensuring they have the support and opportunities necessary to succeed.
We are immensely proud of these young stars and their success, which is a testament to their hard work and the strong foundation provided by FC Copa Academy. This proves that with the right support and determination, anything is possible.
