FC Copa Academy wishes our 2013 Girls good luck as they prepare to compete in the State Cup Final this Sunday at 11:15am against Madison SC.
Their path to the final has been nothing short of impressive, with the girls displaying incredible attacking ability by netting a total of 15 goals in just 3 games.
Throughout the tournament, the 2013 Girls have showcased their ability to control games, overwhelming opponents with the ability to play on both sides of the ball. Their defensive organization has been rock-solid, while the relentless offense has created scoring opportunities from every part of the field. The girls now set their sights on Madison SC for what promises to be a competitive final match to their State Cup run.
Coach Aidan Gaule sharing his thoughts on the team's journey:"We are very pleased with the growth of this group, who have exceeded all of our expectations. We are excited to head into the Spring season together and begin introducing them to our ECNL RL program."
We are incredibly proud of what the 2013 Girls have already achieved this season. Regardless of the outcome on Sunday, they have proven that hard work, teamwork, and a love for the game can take you far.
