FC COPA ACADEMY POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The candidate should have a demonstrated commitment to and a passion for soccer, particularly in the development of players. The role of the coach is to develop, educate and provide a positive experience for all our academy players from U8 - U18. In addition to our academy teams, we also have a very successful U20, U23, & USL League Two men's team as well as U20, U23, & UWS women's team that allow our alumni to continue their playing careers post-high school and even post-college graduation. All coaches are required to be punctual, possess a strong work ethic, and be able to communicate clearly our club curriculum effectively to our players and parents.
FC Copa Academy provides youth soccer players with superior coaching staff, a well-defined and progressive player development curriculum, and state-of-the-art training facilities at Rutgers University (Piscataway, NJ) Brandywine Fields (Millstone, NJ), and Aviator Sports (Brooklyn, NY). Since its inception in 2005, FC Copa Academy has placed over 300 players into over 250 collegiate programs, 3 players have traveled to play with their national teams, 2 players selected to attend the U17 U.S. National Team residency program and over a dozen players have signed with professional clubs.
STAFF & SENIOR STAFF COACHES:
FC Copa is looking for professional coaches to join the coaching staff that embody the combination of qualities and talent that define the FC Copa Academy Coach:

Inspire a profound love of soccer in all players

Teach the technical, tactical, physical and mental sides of the game

Teach life skills through the game such as teamwork, handwork, and accountability
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Previous experience coaching at the youth level.

Hold a USSF B License for Senior Staff.

Possess a passion for the game, high moral character and the ability to work with others.

Hold a USSF D License for Associate Coaching Staff.
FC Copa coaches are both coaches and trainers and are assigned teams as head coaches or assistants based on their experience and overall abilities. We are especially interested in identifying qualified women coaches for assignment to our girls teams.
