The FC Copa Minis is an initiative to engage young players ages 3-5 in the FC Copa Way. The curriculum is designed to teach early motoric skills, introduce technical sophistication on the ball and early development of soccer awareness. It also instills the love and passion for the sport through the methods of guided discovery.
The FC Copa Junior Academy is a clinic for boys and girls ages 6-8, offering an exciting opportunity which will focus on their soccer development via a positive competitive environment and the spirit of teamwork. The Junior Academy has been designed as a critical step in creating a foundation to succeed at an older age. We look forward to having our proven development clinic benefit new youth players.
The FC Copa Junior Academy will seek to enhance each player's passion for soccer as well as ignite their passion for FC Copa Academy Futbol by attracting, developing and retaining young soccer players in order to be the foundation of our future FC Copa teams.
The Pre-Academy Program will be the next step in the FC Copa Academy ladder of progression. The Program gives the players, at an early age, an opportunity to learn the technique, soccer coordination and movement in the precise and correct way. Playing in a small sided environment will give the players more time and touches with the ball while also learning to work with teammates. FC Copa Pre-Academy selections will consist of an evaluation process designed to identify players displaying a potential for future placement on an FC Copa Academy team.
We aim to:
Foster a challenging and enthusiastic learning environment which will fuel player interest;
Create a training environment where there are opportunities for many successes which will strengthen players confidence
Introduce new moves and techniques which will expand creativity and player comfort with the ball;
Value player/family participation which will increase player/family desire to be part of future FC Copa teams
